Questions and answers found here....at last!
  • Where are your bottles made?
  • Do you sell them in other sizes?
  • My bottle was shipped in packing peanuts/bubble wrap.  How is this "green"?
  • How can I keep my glass water bottle clean without using harsh cleaners?
  • What are the lids made out of? If it's plastic, doesn't that defeat the purpose of using a glass bottle?

A: Italy.  Then they are etched with our sweet logo in Cocoa Beach, FL

A: We do not currently sell sizes other than the 1 liter glass water bottle.  While we were researching different bottle types, we did find a 500 mL bottle, but we did not like the shape that it came in and decided to stick with the 1 liter bottles that we had.  The rounded-square shape is much easier to handle and, to be honest, looks cooler :)

A: Living La Vida Verde is proud to practice what we preach and our packing materials are no exception.  We reuse all packing materials that have been used to ship things to us, including materials like packing peanuts that we would not normally purchase ourselves but would rather reuse than put into the landfill.  When these materials are not available to us, we reuse white packing paper donated from our local public library.

A: About once a week you can pour 1/4 cup of vinegar in your bottle and mix with water to keep your bottle clean and fresh.

Q: What are the lids made out of?  If it's plastic, doesn't that defeat the purpose of using a glass bottle?
A: The lid is actually made from a BPA-free plastic, metal and a rubber stopper to prevent the water from leaking.

It does not matter which reusable bottle you use, it is our goal to reduce the use of disposable bottles in general and bottled water is the easiest to eliminate.  These glass bottles are just what we have found to enjoy and that is why we are sharing them with you.
