Take the Throwaway Challenge!!
For one day, jot down or make a mental note every time you throw something (anything) away. Once you are aware of all the things you discard each day, you can then figure out where you can reduce your use of products that create waste! For us, it was drinking filtered tap water instead of buying bottled water. Maybe you will buy soda by the 2 liter bottle instead of the the individual cans or maybe you will drastically reduce your consumption of packaged foods. Whatever works for you, you CAN make a difference! Every little bit helps.
